Job Description:
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify clients' strengths, needs, and vocational interests, developing tailored intervention plans to promote independence, skill development, and community integration.
* Design and implement personalized programs addressing areas such as vocational skills and daily living activities, utilizing evidence-based occupational therapy techniques.
* Provide clinical leadership and expertise in occupational therapy-related matters, managing resources and guiding junior staff to ensure quality and safety of services.
* Offer direct mentorship and clinical supervision to junior therapists and therapy assistants, facilitating their learning and development.
Key Requirements:
* Registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in adult disability.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues and service users.
* A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential.
