Assistant Manager - Regulatory Reporting
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Regulatory Reporting. This role will contribute to the success of regulatory reporting within the finance function, ensuring individual goals and team objectives are achieved.
Main Responsibilities:
* Promote a client-focused approach to enhance relationships and leverage internal systems and expertise.
* Achieve accurate preparation of internal management information and regulatory returns using automated platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
* Ensure robust processes and systems are in place to facilitate accurate and timely reporting, including reconciliation and analysis.
* Maintain strong professional relationships with regulatory bodies, addressing queries and providing support.
* Support automation and process improvement initiatives within the regulatory reporting framework, contributing to data quality enhancements and operational efficiency.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standards, financial markets, and relevant accounting practices.
* Undertake various ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, providing timely and accurate financial information.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree and professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Significant experience in a related role within financial services.
* Strong knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements, including relevant regulatory reporting standards and capital frameworks.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in business application software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Able to work independently, adapt to change, and collaborate effectively within a team.
