Overview
You will direct and manage the full project life cycle, setting standards for assignments and applications. You will be responsible for the delivery of the defined work packages to our financial client and provide effective management to teams, giving guidance to others and key business users.
Responsibilities
Develop strategies and direct teams ensuring that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off. Take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of medium scale projects with diverse scopeTake responsibility for understanding client requirements seeking to fully address client needs, identifying, evaluating and recommending options, plus the establishment of a base-line on which delivery of a solution can commenceApply and monitor the use of modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards, giving special consideration to business perspectivesEnsure that realistic project plans are maintained and ensure regular and accurate communication to stakeholdersIdentify trends and translate analytical reports into management presentationsMeet on-time and on-budget project goals and participates in the identification of and planning for future resource needsInput into proof of concept exercises and assists sales with pre-sales collateralDevelop new processes/frameworks/methodologies and improvements impacting cost, time and qualityProvide insights on defect trends, heat maps, problem/focus areas.Updates practice vertical teams on industry trends and manage competency across business areas
Qualifications
Relevant third level qualification or equivalent work experienceDesirableManagement qualification or relevant years of experienceAdditional course or certification in Business Analysis

Experience
Financial industry experienceKnowledge in business analysis methodologies and has awareness of new and emerging technologies and developmentsExperience with Large scale end to end integrated systems projects within the financial industryExperience in both agile and scrum environments Has good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledgeProven ability in assuring project meets quality standards by providing guidance and developing procedures relating to product qualityExperience in applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and solve operational problemsHighly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and WordExperience of using recommended project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking
