**Healthcare Administrator Position in Ballincollig**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to fill a full-time Healthcare Administrator role in our Inpatients department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing reception duties, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a healthcare setting, and excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality are essential.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of €16.32 and a temporary 3-month initial contract.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide administrative support in the Inpatients department.
* Manage reception duties, including handling phone calls, greeting patients, and managing appointments.
* Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
* Assist with the preparation of reports and correspondence.
* Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow.
* Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
* Handle inquiries and provide information to patients and visitors.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Proficiency in using office software (MS Office, email, etc.).
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
* Knowledge of hospital or clinical operations is an advantage.
