Department Overview
The Sustainability Department plays a critical role in helping clients improve their environmental impact. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, policymakers, industry groups, and leading global companies, the department focuses on three key goals:
* Green Investments: Collaborating with internal teams to deliver sustainability-focused investments that help clients reduce their environmental footprint.
* Policy & Industry Engagement: Partnering with policy and regulatory teams, as well as industry groups, to address and resolve sustainability challenges in various sectors.
* Climate Action Plan: Supporting corporate services and property teams in implementing the organization's Climate Action Plan.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sustainability Executive, you will:
* Lead and influence the delivery of client sustainability investments that drive environmental improvements.
* Manage and disseminate sustainability knowledge across global teams, promoting innovation, creativity, and strategic influence.
* Identify new sustainability opportunities, trends, and marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
* Conduct thorough market research on sustainability topics, including data analysis, regulatory policies, and emerging trends.
* Presentation insights to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of priorities.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to lead high-level discussions and client conversations.
* Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to C-suite executives, investment committees, boards, and sub-committees.
* Develop and apply expertise in sustainability value propositions.
* Contribute to transformation initiatives and client growth strategies through strategic analysis of business plans.
* Build and nurture client relationships with a focus on providing exceptional service.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, both within and outside the organization.
* Develop the capacity to influence key decision-makers in important stakeholder groups.
* Successfully manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Key Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A third-level qualification, with a minimum Level 8 on the National Qualification Framework.
* Relevant technical experience in sustainability or a related field.
* The ability to work well under pressure, show initiative, and work independently.
* Flexibility and enthusiasm for potential career progression, including opportunities overseas.
* A demonstrated commitment to personal development and continuous learning.

Salary: Competitive salary expected to be around €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
