Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Senior Associate to join our Financial Shared Services team in Galway. About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Senior Associate will be responsible for full responsibility for Accounts Receivable including cash application process ownership, investigating and resolving customer finance queries, processing customer invoices, credit notes & payments, ensuring cash collection occurs within a timely manner, reviewing and managing customers' credit limits, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Cash Application Process Ownership:
o Prepare and reconcile all cash received from various merchants with daily bank files.
o Ensure all variances are reconciled and explained.
* Investigating and Resolving Customer Finance Queries:
* Processing Customer Invoices, Credit Notes & Payments:
* Cash Collection:
* Reviewing and Managing Customers' Credit Limits:
* Reviewing Receivables Ledger and Supporting Collection Effort:
* Managing Bad Debt:
* Partnership and Collaboration:
* Liaising with Manager:
* Ensuring AR Invoices and Workflows Have Appropriate Control and Approval:
* Performing Internal Audits:
* Completing Analysis & Reconciliations:
* Ensuring Customer Statement Reconciliation:
* Performing Month End Tasks:
* Assisting with Other Related Finance Tasks:
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree/Finance Qualification Desirable
* At Least 2-3 Years of Experience Working in a Busy Accounts Receivable Environment
* High Proficiency in Excel Required
* Previous SQL or GBQ Experience Preferred
* Previous Experience in the Industry or Dealing with Various Business Models Advantageous
* Strong Organization and Planning Skills
* Problem Identification and Resolution Skills
* Meticulous Attention to Detail and Strong Planning and Forward-Thinking Capabilities
* Demonstrated Ability to Anticipate Needs and Situations Before They Are Fully Developed
* Advanced Proficiency in Google Enterprise Suite Tools (Calendar, Mail Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet)
