Project Process Engineer Role
This 24-month contract position is part of our Operations team and focuses on leading bespoke manufacturing equipment projects.
Responsibilities:
* Lead or support the design, order process optimization, and validation of high-speed automated equipment sets.
* Collaborate with the Global Engineering Project/Process team and the Operations Team to achieve project goals.
* Manage capital budgets and plan equipment validations.
* Execute improvement projects for existing equipment and support various engineering cost and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Mfg. Eng. or related field).
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including automated production equipment development.
* Process background in healthcare, chemical, plastics, or regulated industries; or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with Equipment Control systems, PLCs, FMEA, PFMEA, DOE, validation, statistical analysis tools, and Project Engineering principles.
* Travel up to 25% pending workload and project stages.
