The Account Management Services team develops new capabilities for Mastercard and its customers. We protect cardholders and card issuers and help them manage their daily spending patterns. To enable us to uphold the high standard of these applications we are looking for out-of-the-box thinkers to play a critical role in the upkeep and continual health of these products.
Role
You will own the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, responsible for planning, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion, for an existing technology product or program. Key responsibilities include:
1. Proactively managing the end-to-end delivery of engineering work through the engineering team and all dependent organizations.
2. Reporting on progress, ensuring dependencies are covered.
3. Operating between teams and architectures, overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to successful delivery.
4. Planning and managing a group of related technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery.
5. Deep understanding of the design approaches and technologies utilized in your area.
6. Focusing on the customer experience, the build and delivery processes, and the problems to be solved.
7. Working across multiple scrum teams.
8. Aligning dependent organizations and removing/mitigating all blocking issues.
9. Identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating issues and risks at multiple levels.
10. Writing documentation as required.
11. Partnering with industry vendors that provide technology or user experience design components that support our architecture.
12. Communicating project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership consumption.
13. Regularly reviewing metrics and proactively seeking out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility.
14. Continuously assessing development processes, test plans, and operations.
All About You
Experience in a similar TPM role, with a deep understanding of the design approaches, technologies, and business drivers in your area. Key qualifications include:
1. Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
2. Knowledge of software development processes and Agile practices.
3. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
4. Experience in all things data - writing SQL queries, researching data discrepancies, data reporting.
5. Ability to predict challenges and proactively head-off obstacles.
6. Results-driven with proven ability to effectively define and communicate project status, risks, and solutions.
7. High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptive, able to work in a dynamic environment.
8. Ability to simultaneously manage short-term priorities and long-term initiatives.
