Key Duties and Responsibilities: Completion of statutory audits making use of computer auditing packages in accordance with International Standards in Auditing and ensuring files are consistent with the firm's standard.
Managing an allocated portfolio of clients to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion.
Planning and scheduling audit assignments in conjunction with the partners including the allocation of appropriate staff and available resources.
Completion of financial statements in accordance with FRS 102.
Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
Support and mentor trainees, offering constructive feedback and effective delegation.
Candidate profile: Qualified Accountant and member of professional accountancy Body with experience in practice environment.
Highly IT literate with computer auditing experience with ambitions to maximise its potential and implement improvements.
Highly organised individual with ability to prioritise.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Capability to manage tight deadlines.
Ability to recognise client requirements and to respond to these.
