**Senior MICE Sales Manager Opportunity at Carton House**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior MICE Sales Manager to join our team at Carton House, the first and only member of the Fairmont Hotel and Resorts brand in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
* Morning Briefing and Conversion Support: Attend morning briefing with M&E Team when on site, support M&E Team on Conversion.
* Collaborative Sales Approach: Work collaboratively with other sales channels to drive revenue growth.
* Site Inspections and Market Management: Conduct monthly quota of site inspections and manage the Sports Market for the hotel.
* Marketing Initiatives and Incentives: Understand and actively utilize company marketing initiative/incentives to close business.
* Networking and Tradeshows: Attend networking events and overseas tradeshows and sales missions for the MICE market and where applicable.
* DMCs and Sales Missions: Work with Local DMCs to arrange US Direct Sales Missions.
* Catering Sales and Budget Management: Develop and manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.
* Lead Generation and Performance Management: Generate new leads from Creation reports and Lost Business Reports, and manages the annual performance management process, in line with the Leadership Capability Framework.
About You:
* Hospitality Background: Hospitality Management/BSC degree or equivalent experience.
* Hotel Operations Understanding: Real understanding of hotel operations and previous 4/5* hotel experience.
* Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, passion, energy, enthusiasm, good presentation and influencing skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail, and ability to multitask many projects/initiatives at once and adhere to tight timelines.
* Market Focus: Key focus is the US market – assist in larger pieces of business from ROW on occasion and when needed.
* Work Planning and Organization: Structured and organized approach to work planning.
