Your new company is a successful manufacturing company based in Co Derry, Ireland. We have exciting projects ongoing and are looking to expand our team due to the introduction of new products.
Your Role
The Manager of New Product Introduction (NPI) will be responsible for standardising and optimising the customer experience across the entire new product commercialisation lifecycle. This includes internal and external experiences across four manufacturing facilities.
About the Role
This role will lead the streamlining and enhancement of project management, specification development, and master data management areas within the business. The ideal candidate will have a Lean Six Sigma mindset and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage highly technical processes while ensuring high-quality project throughput.
* Lead interdisciplinary teams to achieve operational efficiency, quality, and service level agreements.
* Travel up to 25-30% with some international travel required.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Math, Science, Business, or a related field.
* Project Management and Lean Operations certifications desired.
* Six Sigma Black Belt Certification desired, PMP Certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.
* 7-10 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing or services operations environment, preferably in the medical field or other highly specified/validated industry.
