DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic senior leader to take up the role of Head of Reward as a core part of the HR Leadership Team. This is a critical role for the Group, reporting into the Deputy CPO, driving strategic programmes and ensuring operational excellence across the key functional areas of Reward.
As a member of the HR leadership team, you will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organisation, as well as managing external partner relationships, in building a culture where Reward and Benefits are an enabler of our overall people and leadership strategy. You will be supported in this by the Reward team and the wider HR team.
This role presents a great opportunity for a highly motivated business professional to manage the Reward agenda across daa. The successful incumbent will work closely with the executive and senior business leaders to develop and implement a Group Reward Strategy to attract, retain, engage and motivate employees through the deployment of industry best practices.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and communicate the Reward agenda across the daa Group to support retaining our staff. Provide support to the CEO, daa Executive Team and the HRLT in all areas of Reward. Design, implement and manage elements of executive compensation and assist with the creation of incentive plans. Lead out on all company pay, pension and employee benefits processes to include compensation, benefits, pensions, global mobility, wellness, and lead the career and reward framework projects. Offer advice and assistance to both national and international stakeholders regarding reward matters.Lead Remuneration Committee matters, executive remuneration and Board level reward advisory activities. Work closely with our Group functions including Group Finance, Company Secretariat and Legal and act as the lead on all compliance reporting, audit and internal controls related requirements. Maintain oversight of specific governance standards and be accountable for reporting on same. Responsible for the operation of all Group Pension Schemes, to ensure they are operated in accordance with the trust deed and rules for ensuring appropriate communications. Support Right Sizing initiatives, including design, approval and governance of any required severance schemes, including engagement as required with RemCo, Board and DPER and Department of Transport. Support the daa Group Nomination and Remuneration Committee in decision making processes. Responsible for the provision of best practice and guidance to our international business on global mobility matters.Provide Reward SME engagement for the HRIS programme implementation. Review current reward policies and implement improvements where necessaryQualificationsExperience as a senior people leader, leading teams to deliver great business outcomes. Highly numerate with at least 10 years experience at a mid/senior level and an understanding of the global environment. Business related degree would be an advantage. Experience working with Executive Teams and external stakeholders. Experience of Board level paper preparation and presentation. High level of personal accountability, trustworthiness and authenticity. Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information. Knowledge of Reward activities, including job evaluation, Global benchmarking, compensation design, benefits, pensions, risk benefits, private medical insurance, wellness would be an advantage. Working knowledge of Global Mobility processes. Knowledge of employment law and employment taxation would be an advantage. Previous experience managing third party vendors and getting value on any external spend. Strong attention to detail combined with a high degree of accuracy. Committed to daa values.
