Job Description
The role provides engineering support for manufacturing operations within value streams. It requires technical ownership for process steps and contributions to key business drivers like HSE, Quality, Supply, and Cost.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Supports attainment of key business metrics through engineering support for value stream processes.
* Eliminates safety and quality risks in processes with robust engineering solutions.
* Leads cost reduction through scrap, reprocessing, and consumable projects.
* Designs and develops tools, fixtures, gauges, and special equipment for manufacturing operations.
* Develops stable and capable manufacturing processes using a structured approach.
HSE
* Promotes a safety culture.
* Ensures contractors/vendors comply with site safety requirements.
* Maintains production equipment to national and company Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
Quality
* Validates new consumables/materials and process changes.
* Maintains manufacturing specifications for process steps.
* Closes quality actions timely.
* Manages process development/validation according to the Quality management system.
Supply
* Supports day-to-day operations through pulse walks and action closure.
* Resolves supply and quality issues using 8D and Six Sigma.
* Provides timely project reporting and ensures projects meet timelines.
Cost
Qualifications
* Relevant Engineering/Science degree (1+ years experience).
* Leadership skills, effective decision-making, and ability to understand technical issues.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
