Role/ Department:
The EMEA new business team is responsible to completes over 350 projects per year. As part of this team, the successful candidate will be dedicated to a strategic new Private Capital client.
The successful candidate will manage co-ordinator between internal NT parties and external parties to facilitate the project management of:
* Private Capital Fund launches from various fund jurisdictions
* Fund company restructures
Key Strategic Client Profile:
* Large EMEA head-quartered global private markets firm with $165 BN AUM
* Open (semi-liquid) and Closed-Ended Products – serviced in Luxembourg, Guernsey, UK, Aus
* NT Service Scope - Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody, Depositary and Corporate Secretarial
* NT assigned as global semi liquid provider – (45 Funds - Luxembourg, Guernsey, UK, and Aus)
* Multiple streams running concurrently with competing priorities, including a busy new fund launch schedule
* Client’s investor base is predominantly large institutions and private wealth, but have a view to target retail clients
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Single point of contact and responsible for co-ordination of new business across the EMEA relationship
* Co-ordinate Fund launches and transitions with wider EMEA teams
* Scope the project and critical path with Client and relevant NT departments.
* Agrees product ‘standards’ with client, and communicates non-standard aspects of the product request
* Project Manager is the key point of contact with the Client for the duration of the project
* Chair project meetings and document actions/updates.
* Ensure new business take on teams are taking ownership of their tasks.
* Report and escalate to Senior Management on any risks and critical tasks from plans that are outstanding
* Interact and update with client executive, EMEA senior management
* Liaise with Client Product Team
* Understand various Operational models being implemented
* Regular meetings with Luxembourg COO & Client Executive
Knowledge:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
* In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change
* Leadership and organizational skills
