My client is an energy company, founded by an experienced management team with proven entrepreneurial, commercial, and technical success where they develop, design, construct, operate, fund and maintain multi-technology assets to enable an acceleration toward zero carbon for energy users.
Due to continued and sustained growth, we require an experienced O&M Coordinator to support a range of renewable projects across Ireland including 1MW to 20MW heat pump projects and 300KW to 50MW solar rooftop projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on project management from initial design through to commissioning and post-installation support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the technical O&M services of all sites in Ireland.
* Manage the maintenance contracts and oversee the contractors on the sites.
* Troubleshoot and conduct root-cause analysis, managing the required spares for cable & associated accessories for the projects.
* Ensure design, installation, testing, and documentation are aligned with the required regulatory requirements & quality.
* Provide technical information and knowledge to support decisions for the projects and act as the technical contact for the operational side.
* Manage and direct contractors and subcontractors on the entire maintenance aspect, including all local safety, health, and environmental requirements.
* Supervise and control daily operation of the facility, establishing working practices and work and asset management systems.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
* Ideally 2+ years working with large scale PV projects.
* Operations and Maintenance experience is also ideal.
* Experience managing contractors and leadership.
* Familiarity with HV & MV substations, transformer centres, solar modules, and inverters in utility scale.
* In-depth knowledge of solar/battery storage technologies.
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
* Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholders related to asset operations and maintenance and flexing your style to achieve results.
