Role Overview:
As a Group Product Manager, you will lead a team of Product Managers to shape and execute product roadmaps, enhancing integration connections with other systems, making targeted improvements to our Core platform, and ensuring reliability through ongoing updates. The ideal candidate brings solid SaaS product management experience, communicates effectively with varied audiences, and works closely with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Support, Customer Success, and Sales to prioritize product goals that serve our customers and support the business.
Role Responsibilities:
* Oversee and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for two of Canto’s Product Development Pillars, aligning them with company objectives.
* Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance on product strategy, prioritization, and career growth. Holds team accountable to performance and team objectives.
* Responsible for team headcount planning, including hiring talented individuals and making decisions about hiring and team structure to support business outcomes.
* Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving product and business goals.
* Monitor market trends to identify potential new features or integrations that will drive customer value and market differentiation.
* Drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards.
* Identify low effort, high value enhancements to the Core DAM Platform based on user feedback.
* Ensure support issues are triaged and prioritized appropriately.
Qualifications & experiences required to be successful in this role:
* 6+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment, ideally with experience in digital asset management or related fields.
* 3+ years of experience managing and developing product managers, with demonstrated leadership skills.
* Demonstrates curiosity in understanding customer needs and experiences, with the ability to transform customer insights into viable product features and improvements.
* Ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently -- you don't need to wait for directions, but know when buy-in is critical. A proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take action to address them effectively.
* Ability to develop strategic product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational goals.
* Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams both inside and outside of technology organizations.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to suit diverse audiences, from executive stakeholders to technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement across all levels.
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma/Figjam, and Pendo.
