Our client is a multi-national company that provides fuel and renewable energy resources and are currently looking for a Commercial Sales Executive with an Engineering degree to join their team!

Reports to: Commercial Director
Location: Cork / Hybrid
Full Drivers Licence & Mechanical Engineering Degree is Mandatory
Overview
Our client is a dynamic multi-national company that provides fuel, service station, and renewable energy resources. Its core business is the importation, distribution and selling of top quality fuel and convenience products and are sold to a wide range of customer channels, including industrial, commercial, agricultural, domestic, wholesale and forecourt retail.
Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Sales Executive's main function is to support customers as they seek to transition their businesses to a lower carbon future. As the Commercial Sales Executive, you will use your technical sales expertise to identify potential customers, prepare sales material addressing their needs, contact them, make them aware of the benefits of the products and services and contract them for supply.
The key role and responsibilities involved in this role include :
* Analyse and assess Energy Legislation, Regulations and Policy with regards to the commercial impacts on the company and their customers
* Assess and identify segments and customers who most benefit from company products or services
* Develop long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Provide clients with the information regarding products or services that best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
* Identify, assess and recommend actions with regards to new technology and new developments within the energy system.
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
* Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
* Provide pre-sales assistance and product education
* Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
* Analyse costs and sales
* Make external presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
* Liaise and work with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
* Understand the workings and commercial impact of the Biofuel Obligation Scheme
* Must hold a full driving licence as travelling is required
Qualifications & Skills
* Mechanical Engineering Degree
* Sales / Marketing experience
* Technical Aptitude
* Experience in energy sales is a benefit
* Strong Communication skills
* The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Independence and self-reliance.
