We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reservations Agent to join the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire.
Job Summary:
The Senior Reservation Agent is responsible for managing reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and handling VIP and special requests. This role involves ensuring efficient booking processes and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Reservations: Handle all reservation enquiries efficiently via phone, email, and online booking systems, ensuring a smooth check-in exceeding our customers' expectations.
* Service Excellence: Develop a strong relationship with all clients, ensuring that all aspects of their booking are handled with care and attention. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner.
* VIP and Special Requests: Manage VIP reservations and special requests, ensuring personalized service for high-profile guests.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences and that the guests' expectations are exceeded in all areas of the hotel. Make every call into a sale, passing on new business leads to the Sales team.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a hotel reservations role.
* Fluency in English both written and Oral.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* System Knowledge: Experience with hotel reservations systems, such as Opera/Hotsoft, is essential, along with a commitment to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organizational abilities.
* A friendly positive can-do attitude.
* Strong IT skills.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle high-pressure situations with ease.
