Summary
Prosper Meath, part of the Prosper Group, is a community-based organisation that provides a wide range of health-related and social services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Our dedicated team supports adults with intellectual disabilities across County Meath, helping them achieve their full potential and engage with their communities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Service while upholding our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services. Key responsibilities include:
* Facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Service
* Empowering the individuals we support, promoting a high-quality service that helps them lead fulfilling lives
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* QQI Level 7/8 Bachelors Degree in Social Care or a related field
* Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration
* Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word
* Full, clean manual driving licence (This is an essential requirement)
* Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable
* Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous
