Design Manager Role
The Design Manager will support the team in enhancing our design activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of design engineers and CAD technicians to maximise their potential.
* Implement training and coaching programs to fulfill operational requirements.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, employee engagement, and learning development of the design team.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years fire sprinkler design experience.
* Experience using Revit and BIM workflows.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise work and manage challenging workload.
Skillset:
* Project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead design engineers and CAD technicians overseeing multiple design projects.
* Problem solving and resolution of coordination and design roadblocks.
* Management of drawing standards and specifications.
