The National Treasury Management Agency (“NTMA”) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities.

Role Summary
The ICT Project Manager role is key to leading key technology initiatives, integral to the strategic and operational objectives of the organisation. The primary responsibilities of the role encompass driving the planning, execution, and completion of projects according to agreed timelines and budget.
The role will report to the Head of ICT Project Management, which sits under the NTMA ICT Team.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Plan, monitor and manage projects from initiation through completion.
2. Participate in analysis, scope definition, planning, estimation, and design of solutions.
3. Prepare and maintain project artefacts and documentation.
4. Define and set clear attainable project objectives.
5. Use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
6. Manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
7. Liaise with and report to Project Boards, Project Executives and the Project Management Office as required.
8. Manage the assignment of tasks.
9. Vendor management, where required.
Knowledge and Experience
1. A minimum of 5 years’ project management experience, ideally within a financial services environment, managing a diverse cross functional project team.
2. Planning, monitoring and managing a number of moderate complexity projects from initiation through to completion.
3. Use of formal project management methodology to manage project areas such as resources, budgets, risks and changes.
4. Financial sector industry experience, preferably with familiarity of Front and Back Office banking system operations.
Specific Experience In The Following Would Be An Advantage
1. Experience of managing projects across a range of ICT systems, technologies, and services.
2. Experience of managing projects for new applications and enhancements to/upgrades of existing applications.
3. Experience of managing cloud migrations.
4. Experience of managing data migrations.
Skills
1. Project management.
2. Excellent written and verbal communications.
3. Stakeholder management, including vendor management.
4. Problem solving.
5. Ability to manage diverse multi-disciplined project teams.
6. Use of Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project).
7. Use of bug/issue tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
Pension Abatement
