Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant looking for your next challenge? Our client, a healthcare company in North Dublin, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to both accounts payable and receivable functions while working closely with a supportive Finance Manager.
As an integral part of the team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of financial transactions, contributing to the overall success of the finance department.
Accounts Payable
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Collaborating with the Purchasing Manager to support purchase orders and ordering processes.
2. Accurately processing invoices, reconciling them against purchase orders, delivery dockets, and contracted price lists.
3. Maintaining and managing spend trackers to monitor expenditure effectively.
4. Overseeing customer recharge schedules for accurate billing.
5. Conducting thorough monthly creditor reconciliations.
6. Preparing and executing monthly payment runs and remittances.
7. Performing detailed petty cash spend reviews.
8. Managing corporate credit card postings and reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable
1. Assisting with monthly invoicing and sales reconciliations.
2. Providing support to the Accounts Receivable team with credit control activities as required.
What We're Looking For
Education & Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role.
Skills & Experience:
1. Strong IT proficiency, with advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting systems (Xero experience highly desirable).
2. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
3. Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload to meet deadlines effectively.
