Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, assess, and mitigate health & safety risks to create a safer work environment.
* Maintain key relationships with external agencies and government bodies while managing all necessary documentation.
* Set clear H&S objectives, aligned with the company's global and regional goals.
* Lead investigations into safety incidents, ensuring you get to the root cause and create action plans to prevent future occurrences.
* Stay ahead of regulatory changes, keeping the leadership team informed on compliance requirements.
* Work closely with site stakeholders to ensure full adherence to both local and group safety requirements.
* Monitor safety standards and implement corrective actions after audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
* Organize and lead impactful H&S training sessions to upskill staff and ensure compliance.
* Support the development and execution of local strategic safety plans that align with the company's global vision.
* Be the architect behind the emergency response strategy.
Requirements:
* A Higher Diploma (Level 8) or Degree in a relevant field.
* Chartered membership of IOSH (or equivalent).
* At least 4 years of experience in a Health & Safety Manager role.
* Proven success in implementing health and safety management systems.
* Confidence in delivering engaging and informative training to staff at all levels.
* Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* A hands-on approach, with the drive and resilience to lead by example.
