Assistant Accountant To manage the accounts and administration functions for a city centre-based charity ensuring smooth financial operations and efficient administrative support.
This role will report to the Finance Manager and is being offered on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities: oManage banking transactions, reconciliations, and supplier payments.
oMaintain accounting records using Sage (or similar) software.
oPrepare financial reports (Income & Expenditure, month-end reconciliations).
oAssist with year-end accounts and audits.
oSafeguard financial and administrative records.
oOversee cash office operations and mass stipend management.
oEnsure compliance with financial policies.
o Implement organisational policies.
oManage electronic files and documentation.
o Assist with stock counts.
Experience Required: Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Sage (or similar) accounting software and Microsoft 365.
Understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary -€38,000 -€45,000 Pro-Rata Skills: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable bank reconciliations
