The Account Executive promotes and sells company services through direct client contacts within an assigned country or region. Schedules sales calls and submits reports of sales activities. Generates positive revenue growth within defined geographic territory focusing on identifying new clients and retaining and growing revenue with existing clients.
Essential Job Functions:
* Develop target list and initiate contact with potential clients through sales phone calls and cold calling.
* Introduce the company and the company’s services to potential clients and build and maintain ongoing relationships.
* Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives, and needs while aligning our products and services.
* Increase business with established and new clients over time.
* Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing, and walking. Some light lifting may be required in some instances.
Skills and Abilities:
* 4 years previous experience in transportation-related field or sales field.
* Excellent sales experience.
* Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to an executive, owner, and/or decision maker with a consultative approach.
* Strong entrepreneurial experience and goal-driven focus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Plans, organizes, and uses time efficiently and effectively.
* Dependable, follows instructions, responds to management direction.
* Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness.
