Are you a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children? Our client, a leading hospital in Dublin, is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated paediatric team.
The Role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to paediatric patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that supports children's development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to paediatric patients.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
* Provide expertise in the area of specialist seating where applicable.
* Monitor progress and outcomes, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed.
* Contribute to team development and provide mentorship to junior staff where required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must:
* Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with CORU.
* Have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, including at least 1 year working with paediatric populations (acute or community settings considered).
* Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge in the area of specialist seating is highly desirable.
