Suitable if you are a Graduate of any subject or experienced Teaching Assistant. A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.
This will be a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant post, with scope to go permanent.
Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm for a Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
1. Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
2. Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
3. Leading small group sessions and interventions
4. Attending to students' personal needs when required
5. Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
6. Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
Pay
The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
Applications are welcome if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant. You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.

2. Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
3. UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
4. Previous experience of working with children or teenagers
