Haleon is recruiting for an Innovation and Project Execution Lead
Responsibilities:
1. Provides leadership and establish key partnerships across Operations, Technical, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Engineering on site, as well as with R&D and above site stakeholders. Has overall responsibility for project delivery and successful technical transfer into site.
2. Responsible for the commercialization of new products from R&D, Line Extensions, Geo expansion product introductions. Key focus on project & risk management, technical due diligence and embedding quality and capability to ensure robust, cost-effective manufacturing processes are developed and implemented.
3. Manages the assessment of opportunities from business and technical aspects to determine viability for execution, completing site impact assessments (SIA) with input from required site functions for potential transfer opportunities summarizing site capability, needed investment, estimated costing, and timing.
4. In coordination with Site Technical and other functions, ensures that products developed meet standards required in terms of quality and process capability as defined in the design specification established with the commercial and R&D teams and by using appropriate business acceptance criteria.
5. Provides resource management/oversight to Project Managers for the planning and execution of project types (e.g. NPI, VE/PPV, line extension, complex site projects).
6. Development of project plans, securing appropriate resources, monitoring of adherence to plans and developing contingency plans for low-complexity projects. Ensures that risk mitigation plans are in place and agreed with the Site/Regional Quality Councils.
7. Establishes and supports the project team, ensuring robust communication occurs from the team to the SLT and to the wider organization as appropriate. Ensures proper escalation and communication of risks is in place and occurring at the right level of the organization.
Required Skills Sets & Experience:
1. BS degree in Scientific, Engineering, or Business Administration
2. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience HPRA/ SGS/ FDA regulated process, manufacturing, product introduction project management or R&D product development
3. Demonstrated experience in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry leading the technical aspects of new product introductions, technology transfers, technical risk assessments, product control strategies, validation, and change control
4. PMP certification or comparable preferred
