Job Description
The Purchasing Administrator will play a key role in supporting and backing up our purchasing function. This position involves:
* Providing first-line support to Site Purchase Requisitioners
* Processing purchase orders and invoices
* Administering Supplier approvals and Material codes
* Maintaining Pricing records
* Processing and reporting TSS customs declarations
* Assisting in generating and collating local contracts and agreements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
* A solid understanding of purchasing processes and techniques
* Purchase/finance function and/or purchase ledger experience
* Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Excel and SharePoint
* Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
* The capacity to work under deadlines and motivate oneself
* Exceptional numeracy and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Good problem-solving skills
* Teamwork orientation
Desirable Qualifications
SAP experience and a degree qualification in purchasing or a related discipline are desirable.
