This dynamic opportunity allows you to have broad reach within Opus, working with colleagues in departments such as Onboarding, Compliance, Client Solutions, and Fund Accounting. This role can be performed from Halifax, Canada; Naperville, USA or Manila, Philippines, if you can work regular business hours in the CST, EST or AST time zone. Responsibilities will include:Act as a primary or escalation point of contact for key Opus client relationships.Manage expectations both internally and with clients in relation to team deliverables.Provide support, guidance, and assistance for local or overseas staff to complete their tasks.Review or prepare portfolio reports as required, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.Support management in initiatives to assist the team in achieving its goal of delivering to clients through a scalable and control-focused model.Manage any assigned portfolio accounting staff, including performance reviews and ensuring personal development goals are met.A Little Bit About YouYou have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field such as accounting, finance, mathematics, or economics.You have gained at least 5+ years’ progressive experience in an accounting team, including leading a team of senior analysts, supervisors, and managers.You are known for your superior communication and interpersonal skills.You have a sense of urgency to prioritize and execute concurrent client demands and internal stakeholder requests.You bring a strong sense of ownership and accountability of work output in everything you do.Fund accounting experience in the asset management industry is an asset that sets you apart.Your values align with our values, where we both exemplify:Innovation – embracing innovation and changeSustainability – think long-termIntegrity – do the right thingExcellence – provide outstanding service to clients and colleaguesCollaboration – enjoy working with others to achieve common goalsWe want to give our colleagues the best start possible.
