What does the role entail?Greeting and welcoming guests on their arrival into the hotelChecking in and out guests and ensuring that all information required is recordedAdvising guests of the hotel facilities, including opening hours, service times and of local amenities.
Issuing guests bills, ensuring that they are correct and that payment is processed as per hotel policyBuilding on the great relationship with the other departmentsLiaising with the accommodation department on regular basis and updating them with relevant information in particular room statusDealing with enquires, requests and questions in a friendly and professional mannerFollowing up on Group Bookings, Packages offers etcLiaising with accounts department and ensuring that billing is accurate and correct.
Planning ahead, checking future business and confirming reservations.
Following up on emails and where necessary make relevant bookingsWhat are we looking for?We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Receptionist in a Hotel.
Working knowledge with Hotsoft is advantageous.
Excellent people skillsIs willing to learn something new and not be afraid to ask questionsCares enough about their new role that they will follow up on queries and enquiresUnderstands the importance of communication and is fluent in EnglishExceptional customer service skills and will represent the hotel professionally at all times.
Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
