We are looking for an ambitious, self-starter to join our software company who will help maximize our sales and marketing efforts. As a Sales Development Representative, you will manage the sales pipeline to assist in overall business growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage sales activities and be expected to meet monthly sales targets.
2. Manage and maintain an opportunity pipeline spread across multiple account managers.
3. Conduct business-oriented discussions with customers to understand their needs and business requirements.
4. Stay up to date on trends and news from the industry, our competitors, and our target market.
5. Provide direct customer feedback and competitive intelligence to continually improve our software.
6. Contribute to the strategy and business development team to set a foundation for future growth.
7. Collaborate with the team to plan and conduct concentrated campaigns and forward-thinking customer outreach.
8. Manage inbound leads that are driven by outbound effort.
9. Gain interest through outbound cold calling and leading demo meetings.
10. Set up and manage customer webinars.
11. Face-to-face customer meetings and attending relevant events will be required from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. 2+ years’ experience in a sales environment, online and/or B2B sales is desirable.
2. SaaS experience and/or software sales would be a distinct advantage.
3. Aptitude and readiness for learning and understanding new technologies.
4. Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions and selling concepts.
5. Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative.
6. Fluency in written and spoken English.
7. Experience using a CRM software system is a plus.
8. Organizational, time-management, and planning skills.
9. Passionate about embarking on a career within sales and the technology industry.
10. Experience and/or knowledge of the accountancy sector is a distinct advantage.
This is an office-based role which is located in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
