We are growing our team of Motor Claims Handlers in Ireland!

This role is within the Motor Division and will include both the desk-top administration, investigation, and negotiation of a portfolio of motor claims and the handling of complaints on behalf of a key motor client.

Specific Responsibilities
* Proactive end-to-end management of a portfolio of 150+ motor and casualty files with specific closure and quality targets.
* Previous complaint handling experience would be advantageous together with familiarity of the CPC requirements.
* Desktop liability investigation and determination.
* Proactive investigation and settlement of claims in an expedient and compliant manner.
* Management of suppliers/vendors.
* Provide excellent customer service to our client.
* Work as part of a team, liaising with the client and other departments.
* Represent the business in a professional and positive manner at all times.
* Maintain a positive attitude when faced with challenging circumstances and changing business needs.
* Be flexible with time and willing to get involved in other areas of the business as requested by management, including travelling to other locations if necessary.
Qualifications/Skills
* APA/CIP qualification in insurance is a MUST for this role.
* Experience handling motor claims is essential.
* Decision-making skills and sound numeric skills required.
* High level interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills.
* Experience working in a dynamic environment.
* General insurance background is a distinct advantage.
* Highly motivated, proactive, and with excellent influential skills to influence both internally and externally.
* Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Problem-solving ability.
* Customer-oriented and displays a willingness to meet and understand customer’s needs.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Possess excellent negotiating skills.
Experience
* Minimum 2-3 years of Motor/Casualty Claims handling experience essential.
