Business Development Specialist - Ireland
This is a field-based role covering the Ireland (mainly Dublin and surrounding areas). The successful candidate will be comfortable with travelling around the region on a day-to-day basis. A full, clean, manual driving licence is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional educational seminars, presentations, and testing details to customers about Hilti solutions including their performance characteristics, applications, and product limitations.
* Inform customers about specific applications to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders e.g. building contractors, architects and engineers, building and fire officials, and Hilti sales personnel.
* Support and influence sales in other specified products; seek out these opportunities and pass leads on to the appropriate team member for follow-up.
* Gather, analyse, and report on market information regarding trends, competitive strategies/actions, innovations, and other business conditions, which have the potential to impact Hilti in the marketplace.
* Identify and implement account acquisition strategies for key competitively owned accounts.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree - ideally in Mechanical/Electrical/Fire Engineering.
* Previous experience in a field-based/customer-facing role is desired, ideally within a commercial context.
* Strong project management and organisation skills.
* Full, clean, manual Ireland/EU driving licence.
