We are currently recruiting experienced Pastry Chef for a busy 4* hotel in Cork Ideal candidate will require 3+ years experience in a similar role in 4/5* hotel with excellent Food reputation, substantial Event business and recognised high standards Personal Qualities Be motivated, being able to work alone or in a team with good personal organization.
Excellent hygiene and grooming standards Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Duties include but are not exclusive to: To help prepare and produce all dishes on-site to a consistently high standard.
To ensure all preparation of the pastry section is complete and ready for each service.
To prepare, cook and present all dishes to the correct menu specification regarding quality and quantity.
To oversee services & to ensure all dishes are presented to the standard required To prepare & serve desserts for Breakfast, Conferences, Bar Food, Bistro Dinner & Functions from guests To follow any instructions given by the Health & Safety Manager and to offer full support at all times in the implementation of all necessary controls To assist the Head Chef in maintaining quality of ingredients and suppliers To assist in managing purchasing cycles and be aware of stock rotation issues To ensure all agreed cleaning schedules and adhered to and HACCP guidelines and principles are followed To apply Potential applicants require current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions, Interviews will be held in-person at the Hotel.
