Infrastructure Solutions Architect - Public Sector

We are looking for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead the integration, operation, and enhancement of our client’s Shared Service systems within the public sector. This role involves managing external developers and suppliers, ensuring seamless system performance, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary contact for external developers and suppliers.
* Oversee system operations, integrations, and continuous improvement.
* Design, procure, and implement systems that enhance digital platforms.
* Develop architecture requirements, sequence diagrams, and data flow documentation.
* Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
* Conduct security testing and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
* Provide technical support and training to internal and external users.
* Present to senior management and stakeholders, translating business strategy into technical solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in solution design and IT system administration/support.
* Strong knowledge of system integration, business processes, and digital transformation.
* Hands-on experience in end-to-end solution delivery, from gathering business requirements to BAU transition.
* Ability to communicate effectively with developers, business leaders, and steering groups.
* Understanding of transport, aircraft, or logistics industries is an advantage.
* Comfortable with both high-level business strategy and low-level technical details.
