Cyber Recovery TRP Development Role
-----------------------------------
About the Role
The customer is implementing a Cyber Recovery solution using Dell Storage and backup products to protect against logical corruption incidents such as ransomware.
As part of this programme, Runbooks are required to describe how the customer's important IT services will be recovered.
Kyndryl, as the infrastructure provider, has been contracted to develop Kyndryl Technical Recovery Plans (TRPs) that document how the Kyndryl managed infrastructure supporting the customer IT services will be restored, recovered, validated, and handed over to the customer's application support teams.
So far, we have developed 28 of these plans, with another 70 to be developed, establishing many processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Developing TRPs involves discovery using available information (CMDB, DR Plans etc.), working with Kyndryl BAU teams to understand and document the recovery, reviewing and approving with Kyndryl and customer stakeholders, and participating in desktop walkthrough exercises of the TRPs.
2. Producing high-quality documents with good attention to detail, as these documents are extensively reviewed.
Requirements
* Experience in producing Runbooks, preferably Recovery/Disaster Recovery type documents.
* Broad understanding of technical infrastructure, including Windows/Linux/AIX/Solaris/AS400/Mainframe/VMware/Oracle/DB2/SQL/Exchange systems and concepts.
* Ability to communicate and work effectively with Kyndryl technical SMEs, challenging them where necessary.
* Organisational skills to work on multiple documents simultaneously.
Additional Information
The customer is a financial services organisation, requiring pre-employment screening. The project is expected to run until July 2025.
