Role Overview
The Super Intendent Pharmacist provides senior pharmacy leadership to the business. As a respected pharmacy leader, you build constructive relationships with pharmacy stakeholders and ensure an ethos of health and professionalism permeates our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain oversight of pharmacy systems to ensure they are safe, compliant, and patient-centric.
* Supervise pharmacy services, including the sale and supply of medicines.
* Provide guidance on professional and clinical policy management.
* Meet statutory responsibilities per the PSI guidance across the four principles: Safe Systems, Leadership, Risk Management, and Competent Teams.
Business Objectives
* Sustain profitability through efficient and consistent service across all retail locations.
* Foster productive relationships with pharmacy stakeholders.
* Represent Uniphar professionally in external engagements.
Key Skills and Experiences
* Pharmacy degree and post-graduate qualifications.
* At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
* A minimum of 4 years working in a Superintendent role or department.
* Proven ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
