Job Description
The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, representing the Front of House Department in a friendly, energetic and professional manner, delivering a Five-Star level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Familiarize yourself with daily business, including arrivals, departures and special requests.
* Offer guest services such as wake up calls, newspapers, etc.
* Check guests in and out in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy.
* Maximize sales through up-selling, using incentives and promotions.
* Deal with customer enquiries and requests for bookings promptly, courteously and efficiently.
* Resolve customer complaints promptly.
* Have a full knowledge of all bedrooms, their location and what they consist of.
* Allocate arrivals for next day's business.
* Know local amenities and transport options.
Ideal Candidate
* Strong command of the English language.
* Basic computer skills are essential, with Hotsoft experience desirable.
* Experience in hospitality is beneficial but not essential.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* A welcoming, friendly personality and manner.
* Ability to prioritize and organize work.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, Bank Holidays, early shifts and evening shifts.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment.
