The Senior Fund Accounting Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accounting books and records of its fund clients, acts as intermediary between the funds and the investment advisors, and prepares financial statements and regulatory reports for the funds.
What you'll do:
1. municating with the funds' investment advisor.
2. Calculating the funds' expenses and accruals.
3. Processing shareholder activity and reconciling to the funds' transfer agent.
4. Maintaining accounting records.
5. Performing security and cash reconciliations.
6. Performing procedures to ensure funds are inpliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Calculating and reporting the funds' Net Asset Values (NAV's).
8. Analysing changes in funds' values in relation to broader market fluctuations.
9. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and audits as requested;
10. Strictly adhere to established departmental fund accounting processing procedures and controls
11. Meet client and investor reporting deliverables and deadlines
12. Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within SEI.
13. Train, coach and mentor employees on the team where appropriate.
14. Carry out all duties assigned to your role under thepany's Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility.
15. Adhoc tasks / projects as required.
What you will bring to the table:
16. 12 months+ experience in Fund operations with experience in Alternative Funds;
17. proficient, particularly regarding Excel and Word;
18. Third level qualification in Finance or Business.
19. Previous experience working in fund operations, particularly in Private Equity funds.
20. Knowledge of the Advent Geneva system;
21. Knowledge of the SunGard Investran system.
22. Knowledge of Investment (Financial) Services industry in Europe.
