Position Overview:
The Junior Sales Representative will report to the Sales Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the growth of sales and customer relationships within the construction materials sector. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start a career in sales within the construction industry. You will work closely with the sales team to build new business, maintain relationships with existing clients, and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Support: Assist in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities with contractors, builders, and other key customers in the construction industry.
* Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
* Product Knowledge: Develop an understanding of our range of construction materials and how they meet customer needs, helping to educate and advise clients on product selection.
* Sales Administration: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including creating quotes, processing orders, and updating CRM systems.
* Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to contribute valuable insights to the sales strategy.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market conditions to management.
Key Requirements:
* A passion for sales and a desire to build a career in the construction industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster relationships with customers.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A self-motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is an advantage but not essential.
* Full clean driving license as some travel will be required to visit clients across Ireland.
* Knowledge or interest in construction materials is desirable but not essential.
