About the Job
In this role, you will maintain and develop Eirgen’s Health & Safety systems and ensure EHS standards and culture are prioritized and promoted throughout the business.
You will:
1. Lead the safety management system and maintain accreditation through compliance with defined standards.
2. Develop a culture of safety awareness with positive reinforcement across all functions while generating accountability for poor safety performance.
3. Lead and continuously develop Eirgen’s Safety governance forum.
4. Lead EHS team ensuring functional alignment with the Eirgen strategic plan.
5. Establish site safety goals and KPIs with Senior Management – reviewed annually.
6. Prepare EHS budget annually.
7. Plan, schedule and track project deliverables using appropriate project management tools.
8. Ensure appropriate EHS project resource allocation in collaboration with functional management.
9. Challenge functional teams to ensure EHS deliverables are completed on/ahead of schedule.
10. Ensure that all work on site is carried out in compliance with the required standards to conform to company, cGxP, health and safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
11. Liaise with external customers on all key EHS project communications & issue resolution.
12. Contribute to Eirgen innovation pipeline & support new product selection.
About You
You ideally are educated to degree level, with a minimum of five years’ relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical or regulated environment, preferably with some project management experience. A proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams with an excellent delivery record is also required, along with good awareness of compliance standards applicable to OSD product development & commercialization.
You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with good relationship management, able to engage with team members, stakeholders, and external customers. You draw from your many attributes such as your ability to manage change and transformation within the organization and to manage any challenges positively. You are a natural leader and influencer, comfortable with your ability to identify risks and opportunities and manage them, driven by the task/project and showing flexibility to ensure results are achieved.
You are strategic and results-oriented with the ability to implement good governance and processes to deliver projects. You excel in presentations, planning, multi-tasking, and time management. You have the ability to self-reflect and self-manage with high emotional IQ, and you enjoy gaining knowledge, continuous improvement, and solving problems.
