Job Description
This role has been created due to growth in our business. We are a family-run Irish retailer operating nationwide, as well as offering a full online shopping experience with delivery throughout Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete Month End Reconciliations, including Bank, Credit Card payments and suppliers.
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register for multiple companies.
* Prepare Month End journals.
* Complete Intercompany Reconciliations.
* Liaise with Internal Stakeholders on various queries.
* Preparation of CSO and other statutory reporting requirements.
* Assist with Monthly Management Accounts preparation along with Month End and Quarter End reporting.
* Assist with preparation of Year End audit.
* Prepare VAT, Vies and Intrastat reports when due by Revenue.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable.
* Knowledge and experience in using an accounting software.
* Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
