Job Title: Operations Director
We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Director to lead and manage our operation and help us to fully harness significant growth opportunities. This position will be a vital top leadership role within ECP Polyurethanes and will be directly responsible for developing and implementing strategy, overseeing operational departments and delivering on strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the Managing Director to develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the business through leadership of department heads, including manufacturing, human resources and sales.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Identify and implement process improvements and innovations to optimise operations.
* Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
* Prepare operational and management reports.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior operations or general management role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
* Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and delivering strong financial results.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
