Meeting & Events Executive – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide
We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, customer-focused individual with a passion for the world of meetings and events to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service, communication skills, excellent presentation, positive can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail and experience in a previous Hotel sales role.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Co-ordinating of meeting and events from enquiry to contract and event managing - ensure all final details are updated for BEO issuing and handover to operations.
2. Liaising with clients to understand their requirements to ensure seamless execution of their event.
3. Maximising Hotel sales and ensuring Meeting & Events Budgets.
4. Ensuring all administration work is completed, follow up calls are made, and contracts are issued to clients within the given timeframe.
5. Communicating all details agreed with clients to the relevant Departments, advising of updates, feedback and future business.
6. Securing deposit payments and final payments within the correct schedule of payments as per the Company policy.
7. Ensure all enquiries are tracked, are followed up on and all new leads shared with Sales Team.
8. Full working knowledge on all internal systems used within the M&E/Sales office.
9. System management, ensuring all bookings are held correctly in system with details up to date as per most recent correspondents.
10. Preparing and updating Menus, Floor Plans and Table Plans for all functions.
11. Supporting with all Sales & Marketing activities – wedding fairs, site inspections, FAMs – etc.
12. Carrying out all other reasonable duties as requested by management.
