Sales Support Specialist Position Overview: The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing sales team efficiency and customer satisfaction by providing administrative, operational, and analytical support.
This role ensures a seamless sales process through order management, data analysis, sales reporting, and customer support.
The specialist also assists in sales presentations, logistics coordination, and CRM management, ensuring the team operates effectively and meets business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Data Management: Prepare and customise sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
Manage and update sales order forms, ensuring accuracy in pricing.
Manage sales software and CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry.
Maintain and update Power BI reports, providing data-driven insights on sales performance, customer trends, and key metrics to field sales and SMT Support data-driven decision-making for sales strategies and management reports.
Field & Customer Support: Support the field sales team by providing relevant marketing assets, sales reports, and customer insights to drive effective client engagement.
Execute targeted telesales campaigns and activate project-based initiatives, contributing to lead generation and customer relationship management Act as a key liaison between sales, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and customers, ensuring seamless communication, issue resolution, and alignment on sales strategies and objectives Operational & Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team (SMT) as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sales processes and operational efficiency.
Process and submit purchase orders (POs) through the internal system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures, and secure management approval as required.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
Key Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM software) and sales automation tools.
Knowledge of Power BI is a must for sales reporting and analytics.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data management and reporting.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective internal and external interactions.
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
Problem-solving mindset, capable of quickly addressing sales process challenges.
