The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing various project services tasks focused on the delivery of services for client software development and delivery global standards in the legislative and regulatory domain. Propylon leverages a diverse set of resources from project management, business analytics, delivery management to define, plan, monitor, govern and lead project activity from initiation to customer acceptance and successful handover to support operations.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and own various assigned project(s).
2. Deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule and budget – from initiation to implementation.
3. Manage and lead key assigned cross-functional resources.
4. Provide regular project status to various levels within Propylon.
5. Work with leaders and managers toward the organization’s overall planning.
6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Facilitate process definition, documentation, and training for assigned processes.
8. Build and oversee process governance for process adherence.
9. Provide comprehensive and ongoing risk management for project(s).
10. Responsible for technology planning, coordination, and technical acceptance of technology releases in a team domain.
11. Work with Super Users and Business Process Owners throughout solution testing to build user knowledge and experience in the solution.
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes Required:
1. Ability to manage and deliver on multiple internal projects to agreed scope and schedule.
2. Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting to company leadership.
3. Proven ability to build and lead high-performance teams both directly and cross-functionally.
4. Business acumen and technology skills.
5. Familiarity with software development methodologies with the ability to drive quality processes.
6. Available to travel as per business needs.
Education & Experience:
1. Background in IT project management.
2. Familiarity with business-critical software/services environment.
3. Degree in IT or Business-related field or equivalent experience.
4. Professional project management certification an advantage, e.g., PMI, PRINCE.
