Job Description Excellent opportunity for a lending professional to join a dynamic and well-funded property finance lender.
Working closely with the directors, the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for some of the key borrower relationships within the business.
Responsibilities will include: Day-to-day management of current relationships with property developer clients.
Monitoring the progress of funded developments through regular site visits, analysing and assessing professional reports and interacting with borrowers.
Managing monthly drawdown requests for the funding of developments.
Liaising with professional service providers (QS, Valuers, Legals) on an ongoing basis.
Preparing regular reports on individual transactions and your overall portfolio for various stakeholders.
Maximising growth by prospecting and assessing new lending opportunities for customers within your portfolio.
Creating and presenting proposals to the Investment Committee, helping to assess the overall proposal against the firms lending standards.
Requirements for this Role Successful candidate will likely have the following background: 5-10 years experience in property or development at a bank, alternative lender or similar business.
An understanding of property and the construction/development process, with an existing professional network in the sector.
A self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent commercial acumen and a keen attention to detail.
