JSD is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its team. The location of the position will be for an 18-month contract in Co. Wicklow. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and/or Contracts Manager.
Primary Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Site Management of the project in compliance with company policy
2. The ability to supervise and manage contractors and employees
3. Maintaining good relationships with clients
4. Interface with the Project Manager
5. Ensure works are carried out in the most efficient manner possible to achieve optimum commercial results
6. Ensure contract costs are managed within the budget
7. Monitor construction with regard to Quality & Safety
8. Attend Site Meetings
Skills and Qualifications
1. Suitable candidates will be degree qualified
2. With a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar position
3. Must have good IT skills and CAD would be an advantage
4. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies
5. Excellent communicator and motivated team player
6. Ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines
