Utilities Shift Technician

Job Summary:
A highly motivated and safety conscious individual to support the FM team on a client site. The Utilities technician will provide a pivotal role in support of the site infrastructure and related FM equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring relevant control systems for GMP and Non GMP alarms.
* Escalation of alarms in accordance with relevant escalation procedures and SOP's.
* Investigating alarms as per relevant procedures.
* Operating utilities equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
* Maintaining high standards of plant uptime in support of Contract KPI's.
* Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with site maintenance procedures.
* Carrying out technical investigations.
* Field rounds and readings of utilities equipment.
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.
* Reviewing permits to work before signing off.
* Acting as lockout coordinator for Control of Hazardous Energy.
* Working with vendors and third-party contractors as required.
* Collaborating with maintenance and calibration teams on scheduled calibrations, corrective, and preventative work as required.
* Ensuring complete execution on time of all operations and maintenance activities on specific utilities equipment.
* Reviewing Utilities Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions as required.
* Managing own training curricula.

Requirements:
* 2-3 years experience.
* Worked in a Shift Team or as part of a Maintenance Team.
* Knowledge of Utilities Systems.
* Worked in a Pharmaceutical, Brewery, Dairy, and Food Industry.
* Worked in a regulated Industry (FDA, IMB, NSAI).
* Good working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs for a wide range of plant equipment.
* Proven capability of working with Pumps, HVAC systems, Air Compressors, Steam Boilers, and Steam Systems ancillary services.
* Domestic Hot Water, Refrigerant Chillers, Cooling towers, Clean Steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, Sterilization Systems, Low Voltage electrical systems, PLC's, Building Management Systems (Honeywell, Emerson Delta V).
* Understanding of Basic Instrumentation.
* Understanding of SOP's and cGMP engineering systems.
